Filled with frank lyrics and catchy garage-pop guitar riffs, 4-piece band Soeckers will play schon schön’s club on Tuesday, August 8th.
“Während du dort sitzt / Sing ich ein trauriges Lied / Weil das mit uns nur / Nur für drei Tage lief,” go Soeckers on ‘Sonne, Mond & Bett”. Six years into their garage pop-ride, their nostalgic but often carefree songs suggest they are a hell of a liveband – which is affirmed by the likes of Madsen, Wanda or AnnenMayKantereit, with whom they’ve been touring together in the past.
Their music taste, which ranges from The Beatles to Oasis, shines through their sound. All of the band’s songs are able to communicate basic truths and basic melodies and their newest singles are a decent document for a young band that will be big one day.
