PREMIERE: We Are Rome – “Whitley Bay”

The boys from We Are Rome redefine themselves once again by releasing their latest hooky and poppy single “Whitley Bay” today, March 15th.

To redefine their sound, We Are Rome pull out a single that comes off with more pop appeal than all other tracks – which may invite a more mainstream audience into their world. The single’s mellow and soothing sound bounces on offbeat guitar riffs, warm bass tunes and dancehall elements.

While the counterpart video is a vintage-trip through the band’s homy memories and emotions, the single proofs yet again that We Are Rome is capable of writing proper choruses mixed with their trademark dreamy ’80s-synth.

In the end, “Whistle Bay” delivers the sound for which we all have been loving the band throughout the years: a sound which enables the listener to lose oneself to the music and to start dreaming along the Whistle Bay.
